Privacy noticeगोपनीयता सूचना

Last updated 22 September 2026

This notice covers two things: this website, and the SocietyAxis product that housing societies use.

This website

What we collect. Only what you type into a form — your name, role, society, city, number of flats, the app you use today, phone number, email and message — and the page you sent it from.

Why. To reply to your request: a demo, the pilot, a professional login, the compliance calendar, or your message. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not sell or share it.

How long. We keep an enquiry for as long as we are in conversation with you and delete it within 24 months of our last contact, unless your society becomes a customer.

Analytics. We count page visits with a privacy-friendly analytics tool that sets no cookies and stores no personal data. This site sets no cookies.

Where. On servers in India.

The SocietyAxis product

A housing society that uses SocietyAxis is the data fiduciary for the personal data of its members, tenants, staff and visitors. SocietyAxis acts as its data processor: we process that data only on the society’s instructions and for the purposes of running the society.

  • Hosting in India. The database, documents, scans and recordings are stored in India.
  • Separation. Each society’s data is isolated from every other society’s at the database level.
  • Retention. Records carry the retention period the bye-laws set for their class — permanent for the members’ register and minutes, ten years for books of account, five years for security and visitor logs — and are to be removed when it ends, unless the Registrar, an authority or a court directs otherwise.
  • Access logs. Access to personal data is to be logged.
  • Status. Isolation and retention dates are in the product today; automatic removal at the end of the retention period and access logging are being completed before the 2027 pilots, ahead of the DPDP duties that apply from 13 May 2027.
  • Your rights. Members, tenants, staff and visitors exercise their rights of access, correction and erasure through their society; we help the society respond.
