Housing society management software for Nagpurनागपुरातील सहकारी गृहनिर्माण संस्थांसाठी व्यवस्थापन सॉफ्टवेअर
Co-operative housing societies in Nagpur follow the same MCS Act and bye-laws as those in Mumbai and Pune, but the local offices are different: the Nagpur Municipal Corporation for property tax and fire safety, MHADA's Nagpur board for MHADA colonies, and the District Deputy Registrar, Nagpur, in the Nagpur division of the Co-operation Department. Each point below links the official source.
Property tax is paid to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation levies property tax in the city. Its website's "pay property tax" link leads to the corporation's online citizen tax portal, where a property's tax can be looked up and paid. A society that collects property tax through its maintenance bill should file the corporation's receipts with its vouchers so members and the auditor can see the amount passed through.

Form B and the NMC fire service
Section 3(3) of the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act 2006 requires the society to give the Chief Fire Officer a licensed agency's certificate (Form B) every January and July. In Nagpur that is the Chief Fire Officer of the NMC fire department, whose page publishes the list of approved licensed agencies, so a society can check that its agency is on it. The July Form B covers January to June, the January one covers July to December of the previous year, and agencies must now sign Form B digitally.

Redevelopment under the UDCPR
Nagpur is not among the areas excluded from the Unified Development Control and Promotion Regulations, so they apply here as they do everywhere in Maharashtra except Greater Mumbai and a few special areas. Under regulation 7.6.1 a co-operative housing society building that is dangerous, dilapidated or more than 30 years old can be redeveloped with its existing authorised FSI plus an incentive of 30% of the existing built-up area or 15 sq m per tenement, whichever is more. The society's decisions follow the section 79A directive.

MHADA's Nagpur board and the Nagpur registrar
MHADA colonies in the city come under the Nagpur Housing and Area Development Board, a regional board of MHADA since 5 December 1977 that now covers Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Gadchiroli and Chandrapur districts. For the co-operative side, the Co-operation Commissioner's official list shows a District Deputy Registrar for Nagpur under the Divisional Joint Registrar, Nagpur, with Deputy and Assistant Registrars at taluka level. Registration of a society is a notified public service to be decided within 60 days.

What SocietyAxis does for a Nagpur society
SocietyAxis keeps the society's record the way the MCS Act and the bye-laws expect: maintenance bills and receipts in English and Marathi, statutory registers that are never overwritten, a compliance calendar for the Form B, audit, returns and AGM dates, and a gate app for visitors and staff. It works the same way for a society anywhere in Maharashtra; the 2027 pilot is in Mumbai MMR and Pune.
